Do on the config and click with the right mouse, then it opens a window like that:Īnd click on edit with notepad++ then a new window opens like that: here you see the Name of the plane, and also the Reference ID. With that ID the game knows what aircraft we use. In that foulder you see the config of the aircraft and the template.Īt first we must know the Reference ID of the Aircraft. We take now the A318-100, search it in the list (A-Z) it looks like that :Ĭlick on the "Open Foulder" button, then you should see this: Not not use that Aircrafts with following ID's A318 + A319 + A320 + A321 + A359 + A388 + ATR72 +E190, all other you can use. Now we have a list of aircrafts you can use all, but in the moment some aircrafts not work correct. Open Sim Airport, then go to mods, and there to Custom Aircraft. That beeing said, I'm a pretty bad mouth there, Devs made already HUGE improvements as to how A.So at first we need a template of an aircraft, we find that in the game Sim Airport. haven't tested them lately myself but will try soon.īest test is to run your airport with as many simple basic things needed and then only once you know it works, slowely implement other stuff that can distract your PAX. anytime I placed anyting outside the secured area it caused troubles.Īlso make sur you don't use a restaurant for now, as it still seems it causes a lot of PAX never making it to their flights. because those PAX just simply run for them and restrooms first in my experiance. mine barely make it to the end (farthest gates).Īlso make sur YOU DO NOT put any food machines or stuff like that anywhere outside your secured area and better if they are close to your gates. Now, do you play on the largest map ? if yes, make sure your floor is covered with any flooring that improves the speed of walking persons. Kk M4jor, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a similar setup as mineīut yeah that's somewhat annoying for yours. So maybe the boarding issue OP faced is related to a pathing issue like in my example ? so using security exits only as what they are called is possible, but it's totally impossible to use them as I would have thought of, like in electronics as a diode, using them simply as a flow directing item. that was even worst, as it made my boarding area unsecure again. So I tried again same idea, placing security exits before security zone. all went through tickets, security, but never could go through the security exits from the green side facing tickets and security, so logically they should pass them. NONE of my PAX ever entered the boarding area. ![]() ![]() ![]() I wanted to avoid the behavior of PAX leaving through security zone, so I decided to drop security exits with a path forcing PAX to use them after security zone to enter the "boarding area" and making sure to have the green side placed correctly. I have seen the addition of arrows for security items, and noticed (maybe it was already there before but I would bet not) that security exits have a red side and a green side. I tried a thing, and it's also related to security exits. Btw, In my new airport (totally sandbox to try an idea I wanted to experiment). ![]()
